BASICS beginner friendly

This class is designed for those new to Yoga and those who need to learn the terminology and movements that will appear in every yoga class. The foundational poses are taught with safety and alignment specific cues. Students are taught how to modify poses based on their current capabilities. Advanced students are welcome to revisit the foundational poses and also learn how to deepen their practice.

FLOW YOGA beginner friendly

This class takes the foundational poses and links the transition between each with the rhythm of one’s breath. Students can speed up or slow down depending on their experience with the sequencing. Flow consists mostly of continuous movement so students are encouraged to bring water and maybe a small hand towel. Pace, energy, and level of difficulty will differ amongst teachers. We recommend that anyone new to yoga complete a basics class at least one time before attending this class.

YIN  beginner friendly

This class focuses on working the tendons, fascia, and ligaments through holding longer poses while remaining low on the mat.  Depending on the student, YIN can feel meditative or intense. Students are encouraged to take themselves out of a pose if it becomes too intense and enjoy sitting or laying quietly until the teacher moves everyone to the next pose. Expect minimal movement and long holding in gentle poses during this class.

SLOW FLOW beginner friendly 

This class is also called Yinyasa or Yin and Yang yoga. It's a combination of our Yin and Flow class.

PRENATAL beginner friendly

Maintain a healthy mind, body, and spirit as your prepare for the birthing experience. Learn restorative and relaxing breathing techniques which will easily transition for your prenatal experience to life as a parent. Explore mindfulness exercises as you explore the importance of balance in this life-changing period. Chairs and bolster available for comfort as your body changes through the pregnancy journey.

KIDS (CHILDREN  3-12)

Introduce your child to the exciting and calming world of Yoga. We explore mindfulness, self-control, and body awareness. This class is a mixture of yoga games, partner & group poses, storytelling, and breath work. 30-minute sessions for children ages 3 - 12. Parents welcome with their student with class fee.
